You've guessed it...it's just not my day today!

The first thing is: at work, some zulu's (who are builders like I'm a scuba diver) have been knocking down pretty much everything upstairs...at least that's what it seems...

Anyway, there's a bunch of wires attached to a pipe going all the way up to the ceiling next to my desk, and every day I used to find a pile of rubble on the corner of my desk so...I took action. Got hold of a guy to sort that out.

"We were pulling those cables" he said.
Me: "know what they're for?"
he replied "no idea, we're just pulling them out"
Me: "ahhhh"

Right...so yesterday this guy agrees to come in at 8h30 this morning to pull them out, but when I turned up at about 10 am (on purpose, to be sure he'd be finished by now), he was up his stepladder...I immediately switched to my "Zidane in a bad mood" mode (I practice my headbutt).

me: "what are you doing there? aren't you finished by now???"
him: "I have to do it"
...which wasn't what I'd asked but I quickly understood that whatever I could possibly say, it would clearly be beyond his intellectual boundaries...

So, I switched back to the "British attitude mode" I sat down & started fantasizing about knocking that stepladder down, after having wrapped these damn cables round his neck a few times...or maybe shoving them up where the sun don't shine... ;)

My colleague "sacrificed" her newspaper to cover my desk to protect it from that dangerous cable-puller with his miserable bucket...she's really too good!

Anyway, when he finished, I saw the concierge in the building, and he told me that his computer & telephone weren't working...WOOPS!! Yep, you've guessed it, that plonker on his ladder had pulled all the cables from the concierge office. DAMN FOOL!!
(that ain't my problem though, is it??)

Anyway, now that he's pulled the cables out of the ceiling, there's a hole there...and so dust comes raining down as usual...why did I bother?

Then tonight, I get back home, and I'm trying desperately to upload music videos on myspace, and guess what? it just wouldn't work!

I also had a bad day. My grandads in hospital so I am basically there 24/7, last night may have been the last time I would ever see him. He was meant to have had his operation today which he may die to the anesthetic because he is very weak. I really think he will make it though. I feel like ****. Never knew it was this bad when a family member is dying :(

Oh I'm sorry to hear that Ramsay.
I keep my fingers crossed for your grand dad. It must be very upsetting.
It's awful. I hope he's not in pain, because that's the worst.

My mum's had cancer this summer, and at some stage it was very frightening too. She's recovered now, and about to start her radiotherapy sessions. When she got the all clear, I felt so relieved.

Ramsay - I put you and your fam in my prayers.

Nanou - you know yours have been sent up and will continue.

My ('step' mom - but we don't say that) has lupus. So she went into the hospital Tuesday night. Pray... she needs a kidney. :(

Nick - HAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!

Lady Di everyone has their own way of dealing with their bad days and when its expressed through music its definitely personal preference :) Id have to agree with NdPnDnt and Roshi though Tupac helps relate to things through his music and I often listen to him when im down aswell as a few other people, as I said matter of personal preference :p

Nick - don't get me wrong. I am not beating anyone down nor up about Tupac being their choice of mood music. Your choice is just that YOURS. I am just saying, he did nothing for me while he breathed, he does nothing still today.

Rap music is the last thing I want to listen to when I am on a bad mood. It'll make me angrier b/c most of it is angry/hostile. I purchased a CD outta Walmart entitled "Sleep". It has the beach in the background with soft instruments. So relaxing, calm, fresh & refreshing, peaceful, tranquil.....Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!! And that's what I like to relate to, you know?

Hey, I am older than you all, I need serenity, sue me.

hahahaha thats funny Ladi Di....i get completly the opposite when i am angry and listen to calm music...it makes me more aggressive cos i feel like its not getting anywhere :p lol as it has been stated many times tho ...PERSONAL PREFFERNCE....but its good to know what makes ppl tick n wat can calm them :)

Nick

Lol Lady Di I wasnt trying to have a go at you or anything my bad if you took it the wrong way :p as Roshi said its interesting to hear what people use to help them calm down. :)

Ro$$hi

Lady Di

Nick - I am not a softy that way. I knew what you meant, was justifying me... that's all. I could put some SHAGGY on to get me in a good mood. I know peeps don't like him, but his music has never been and never will be angry. No parental advisors on any of his CD's to date. And that I love him for, ya know.

Ok Ro$$hi, you are sick!!

To be honest, it depends on the day, and the style of music I listen to changes totally. I don't mind a bit of Nina Simone or Joan Baez every now and again, but some day, I need Marilyn Manson. :D ;)

Today, well...it's been an MC Solaar day for me, because I just got some of his old material. It's a blast from the past!

The night falls early, the rain starts to fall, the wind blows stronger. I hate it!
