I know it's because you happen to have the Clio on your signature, but Thierry Henry (Arsenal football player) did a series of TV ads for this car "vava voom"
It's become a best of!
Hey Bobby...what's ze French for Vava Voom? hehhee

This one is very cool as well, it was on TV a lot during the football world cup this summer. It's Ronaldihno from Brazil, and Eric Cantona commenting...

On the Football/Cars subject, I remember this one, which was aired this summer during the World cup in Germany. It's a promotional ad for Toyota Corolla special edition "Les Bleus" (the Blues, French supporters). The driver makes foreign supporters (desperate for a ride to Berlin) sing cheers to the French team in exchange for a hike. It's pretty good!
It can be seen there: http://www.pubzagogo.com/Vision_Toyota_Corolla_AllezLesBleus.html
I also adore the "singing in the rain" advert for the Golf, with David Elsewhere dacing as Gene Kelly.

usually they don't put these beasts into commercial ads, because they're aimed at the "middle range" car buyers...house wives, families, etc.

For the Gene Kelly - Golf GTI one, you can see it here:

I think it's a really good way of paying tribute to Gene Kelly. :)
