That is the first song I ever remember hearing of his when I was a kid. SHAGGY just had the pleasure of sharing the stage with him on some European gigs in 2004. :(

Ray Charles was the blind pianist and has been in heaven since 2004
I do not know the Peguin person. Will look into it.

Damn i didnt see it coming, i hadn't heard anything from him in a while but i didnt know he was getting sick...

My best answer would be no. James Brown died Christmas Day whereas Ray Charles died in 2004. Charles was blind and did play the piano. Jamie Foxx play him in the movie 'Ray' if you want a closer association. If you need a pic of either person, let me know.
As for the Happy Feet person, who's that? Give me more info Oondanasai. The only person I know associated with penguins is Morgan Freeman from The March of the Penguins and he is very much alive last time I read anything on him.
