Ok, them need for speed peeps probably will not post under this thread. AHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAA!!

Anyhow, I have had several attempts to play games since my first desktop back in '94. I used to TRY to play them standard Windows games like Solitaire, Hearts and the mine thing. Gave that up when I saw Bejeweled, Bowling, Qbeez and some slow games like that. Alchmey was really hard but I kept on giving it my all...

On the new lappy, they have about 100 or so trial version. I had like 3 games there prior to an hour ago. Now, I have 3 pages of games to try. I have to set my screen reso to that awful 1024 X 768?? to get teh console in the full 15 inch widescreen, much to my dismay. But, at least I can see EVERYTHING now. Laughs.

Next...

BTW - I even managed to have the original Nintendo with the floor pad for that game (whatever it was now). On Mario, I never ever saved the Princess, poor thing, b/c in real life I can't swim and in the game I couldn't either. Sad, I know. Duck Hunt was fun as heck until I got all sentimental.

Pong, that was like THE game when I was a teen. And yeah I did arcade stuff like Bowling, a card game??, Ms PacMan, PacMan, Asteroids, Galaga (all time fav) and Galaxa???

hah I used to play those too!! see, I might be young, but I've played the legendary games...also the prince of persia game, which was on windows 3.1 version...based on MS-DOS...I was like, a pro in bowling, I was average in pacman and I sucked at galaga and asteroids...those two really got on my nerves...

hey Di, I had a nintendo console, one of the oldest, the one with the 8bit mario, and I couldn't save the princess either..haha I used to get lost in the latest koopa castles...those were labyrynths I guess :p but it was one hell of a game...

oh! I forgot...I always cheated in duck hunt, I used to point at the ducks like 1 inch away from the pc...or even less, haha I was a kid back then, I didn't have good aiming ;)

I am so glad somebody in here remembers the 8bit Nintendo AND is younger than me. Those were the days. So, the princess is still waiting to be saved for you too, huh Daniel. Absolutely funny to read. I feel so much better now. (laughs) Oh heck yeah, I used to do the same thing on DH. That gun would so close to the screen it wasn't funny. AHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAA!! Oh Galaga is mah game. LOVE IT.

Oondanasai - I have a cataract (clouding of the natural lens) in one eye, so my screen reso is always set to 800 x 600.

The days of DOS, eons ago. WOW!!

Oh handheld games. I have a table top Ms PacMan or PacMan, forget which now. Uhmmmmm - Uno, Wheel of Fortune, A word thesaurus/dictionary game thingy, and brick game. Oh and a purple game - what's the thing that the numbers spin and then you stop them hoping to get a threesome?? Damn, brain freeze. I had travel sized battleship and that game where you get three circles in a row. I am so dead tired in the brain now. And I do own like 2 board games. :p

I have used it since Windows, yeah there was no numbers when I first came to a computer at all. I've had that condition with my eye since childhood. I love Windows now as they have speech recogition programs, narrator, magnifier and some more accessibility features that are neat.

imulaters??? wdh?? no laugh

Zulu Gems is just about clearing stones from the board and find some mystery gems/tools to save and use too. It's colorful like Bejeweled.

I tried to play Jeopardy and Rock & Roll Jeopardy. I was so bad I didn't get to the Bonus Round. I had a minus on each game. :P

Yeah Oondanasai, it is where you have topics at the top and then you can work from a $200 to $2000 "what is..." answers. Alex Trebek?? is the host here in the states.

I watched Deal or No Deal yesterday at my parents. Howie Mandel hosts this show and I swear I was bored to tears. I was so glad I had clean-up duty to keep me occupied. Dude ended up going home with $136,000 though. Nice for someone who came in with nothing, huh?

Sorry bout the links, I forggot the dial-up thing.
