Well 5 days is not much for real, but who cares??
Even if she would have to spent more "days" or months etc. in jail, people like Nichole Richie could just buy themselves out so, it's really stupid to keep her there 5 days is NOTHING!Nicole don't seem to give a damn about other people lives. But hey, there's too many 'spoilt brats' in USA especially if we are talking about famous people.I actually think that this is kinda funny..

When rich and famous people are doin' stupid ish and goin' to jail (for a while) George W.Bush won't send them straight to tha deathrow..but if it's goin' to be juts ordinary people they are goin' straight tha deathrow,NO GUESTION..and George W.Bush won't give a f***.

Well..that's my opinion,so don't take this too personal.

I concur and I am a US born and bred resident LR2. Look what Halle Barry did, ok? And today, no matter WHAT she does in life, I still despise her for that. I don't believe it has anything to do with Bush or any other President for that matter. I believe it boils down to US as humans and citizens alike.

See, we put soooooooooooo much emphasis on "celebrities" and so little emphasis on "humaness". Treat them m/f's just like you would average Joe Blow who's your neighbor. Take them off them fanatically created pedestals and treat them as they would treat YOUR azzz if and when they see you. That's where we need to start in my mind. I said it many a times and have pissed many a people off as a result even "celebs" - You ain't no mo' special than me. Your Tylenol bottle is just way more expensive and a lot larger. Carry on.

Okay..okay.I maybe took it lil' too hard on my last post, but like I said: "Don't take it TOO personal"..and yeah it doesn't actually depend on Bush or any other president..When I was writing that post,at the same time I was readin a heading which included some stuff about Bush..and that's why I said a few opinions about him.I'm sorry if I offend you I didn't mean it,but once againg..don't take it too personal.

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - U.S. reality TV star Nicole Richie was charged on Friday with driving under the influence, stemming from her arrest in December when police said she was driving the wrong way on a Los Angeles freeway.

The 25-year-old star of "The Simple Life" and daughter of singer Lionel Richie was scheduled for an arraignment on Wednesday on the misdemeanor charge.

Richie's December 11 arrest came six weeks after it was revealed that the rail-thin actress had checked herself into a treatment facility to address weight-loss issues. An arrest report showed the 5-foot-1-inch actress weighed 85 pounds (39 kg).

Police said they encountered Richie blocking the carpool lane on the Ventura Freeway in Burbank at about 1:45 a.m.

Although Richie's car was pointed in the right direction when police found her, her black sports utility vehicle matched the description of an SUV seen entering the freeway against traffic nearby, police said.

Richie, who has previously undergone treatment for heroin addiction, was booked into jail on suspicion of driving under the influence and released after posting $15,000 bail.
